Shipping

Shipping charges and approximate delivery times are calculated live by the webshop when you enter a shipping address. This system uses the Australia Post eDeliver website. Delivery times apply once the package has been posted. Add to this the time necessary to receive and clear a cheque or money order.

Within Australia, orders up to 10kg are shipped via Australia Post's Parcel Post. Heavier orders will be split into multiple parcels and charged as separate items.

For an additional fee, items can be sent by Registered Post, Express Post, Platinum Express or via the Cash On Delivery (COD) service. You can determine the COD fee from the Australia Post Post Charges booklet. At the time of writing, this amount was an additional $9.30, payable at the time of collection. Registered Post and COD parcels valued above $100.00 are insured at the extra rate of $1.15 per $100 or part thereof. Insurance is not available for Express Post or Platinum Express services.

Platinum Express is a satchel-based overnight courier service requiring a signature on delivery. It is available in some metropolitan areas and major country centres.

Platinum Express caveats: please note that some combinations of items may not fit in the available Platinum Express satchels; these orders will be changed to standard Express Post parcels. Note also that Australia Post will NOT honour their replacement satchel guarantee for late delivery of items as our local Post Offices (postcodes 3106 & 3107) are NOT officially part of the Platinum Express network. However, we estimate that > 98% of Platinum Express items that we send do arrive on time.

Overseas orders (less than 20kg and no more than A$500) are sent via airmail. Orders valued at less than A$50.00 are not insured. Higher value orders are insured at an extra cost of A$7.50 for a value up to A$100 plus A$2.00 for every A$100 or part thereof above that.

Returning Goods

Goods returned for credit will not be accepted without prior authorization. Claims will not be recognised unless made within seven (7) days of delivery. Unfortunately we cannot accept return of consumable items such as batteries.

Freight on Returns

The buyer accepts liability for all freight costs incurred in the return of warranty repair or replacement faulty goods.
